What brand of cabinets do you offer?
Lanae® is not a reseller or dealer. We are the distributor of our own Lanae® product lines, including cabinets, sinks, faucets, and hardware.
Our cabinets are manufactured in Vietnam to meet our quality standards, while our sinks, faucets, and hardware are produced in China under the same commitment to quality. By working directly with our manufacturing partners and distributing our own products, we're able to offer high-quality products at competitive prices.
When shopping for cabinets online, it's important to understand the difference between buying directly from a cabinet brand and buying through a reseller. Many websites resell products from third-party suppliers, meaning they may not have inventory, replacement parts, or product experts readily available.
Because Lanae® distributes its own products, we maintain inventory in our warehouses, stock replacement parts, and have direct access to product specifications, warranty support, and product information. If you have a question about a cabinet, there's a good chance our team can physically inspect the product in one of our warehouses.
All Lanae® cabinets ship directly from our warehouses and arrive in packaging clearly marked with the Lanae® logo, so you know exactly what brand you're receiving.
Does Lanae offer custom cabinets?
At Lanae, we provide high-quality, ready-to-assemble cabinets. We do not offer custom cabinets or modifications. However, our cabinets are easy to modify if you have woodworking expertise. If you have any questions about modifying your cabinets, please feel free to contact us
Can I paint Lanae cabinets?
Yes, you can paint our cabinets. Our paint functions as a durable primer for your personalized paint application. To ensure a strong mechanical bond, we recommend sanding our cabinets with 300 grit sandpaper before applying the paint.

What is a universal box?
A cabinet carcass is the main structure or body of the cabinet, excluding the doors, drawer fronts, and face frame. At Lanae, most of our cabinets feature a universal carcass, also known as a universal box. This means the main box of these cabinets is standardized with Pure White painted exterior sides, while the fronts (including the face frame, doors, and drawer fronts) are finished in your selected color or stain. If your cabinet is placed against a wall or another cabinet, the Pure White sides won’t be visible. For exposed sides, you’ll need to order a color-matched skin panel. Alternatively, you can paint our cabinets to suit your design.
However, Pure White cabinets, glass door cabinets, and spice drawer cabinets come with pre-matched sides and do not require skin panels.
Do I need skin panels?
Our cabinet main boxes/carcasses are universal with Pure White painted exterior sides. Only the Fronts (Face Frame, Doors and Drawer fronts) will be finished in your selected color, or stain. If any sides of your cabinets will be exposed, you will want to order a color matched skin panel for the exposed side/s.
Pure White cabinets, glass door cabinets, and spice drawer cabinets come with pre-matched sides and do not require skin panels.
Each cabinet will come in two boxes: a carcass box and a front box. For example, C-B36-WHT and F-B36-BLK.
Do I need to cut the skin panels?
Yes, the side skin panels and toe kick moulding come in universal sizes and may need to be cut to fit your cabinets. We recommend using a fine-tooth blade for cutting the skin panels and toe kick moulding to ensure a clean, precise fit.
What is the difference between White, Pure White, and Cream/Off-White?
We’ve recently renamed “White” to “Pure White”, but it’s still the same great color—comparable to Sherwin Williams’ High Hide White. Our newest color, “Cream/Off-White,” is a warm, light, creamy hue with cozy undertones that borders on greige, very similar to Sherwin Williams’ Shoji White.
Do your paint colors match any Sherwin Williams shades?
While none of these are perfect matches, here are our approximate equivalents for reference:
- Pure White: Comparable to Sherwin Williams’ High Hide White.
- Midnight Black: Very similar to Sherwin Williams’ Tricorn Black.
- Soft Sage: Very similar to Sherwin Williams’ Evergreen Fog.
- Cream / Off-White: Very similar to Sherwin Williams’ Shoji White.
- Dove Grey: Comparable to Sherwin Williams’ Network Gray.
- Perfect Blue: Comparable to Sherwin Williams’ Sea Mariner.

What shipment options are available?
Lanae shipping centers are located in Salt Lake City, UT; Lititz, PA and Mobile, AL. We ship to the continental US and our cabinets are in stock.
We offer:
• FREE Local Pickup in Salt Lake City, UT; Lititz, PA and Mobile, AL (Local Pickup is appointment only)
• Small Parcel Ground (2-5 Business Days) up to 160 lbs
• Freight Curbside Delivery (3-7 Business Days) Over 160 lbs
• FREE Freight Curbside Delivery (3-7 Business Days) on orders over $2500
Transit time estimates are not guaranteed.
Shipments under 160 lbs will be shipped via Small Parcel Ground regardless of shipping option selected. Shipments over 160 lbs will be shipped via Freight Curbside Delivery regardless of shipping option selected.

Do you offer local pickup?
We offer free local pickup in Salt Lake City, UT; Mobile, AL and Lititz, PA. Local pickup is available by appointment only. Please contact us to arrange your local pickup order.
How will my order be shipped?
Your order may be shipped via Small Parcel Ground, freight (curbside delivery), or a combination of both, depending on the size of the order and the items being shipped. If shipped via freight, your order will be palletized. If shipped via small parcel, your order will be packed in boxes with additional protective packaging.
Will I be able to receive my freight shipment by myself?
Many cabinets can be large and heavy (over 100 lbs), so it's highly recommended to have one or two additional people to help with unloading. Freight shipments are delivered via a liftgate, which is a platform attached to the truck that lowers your palletized order to the ground. Please note that freight delivery is curbside, meaning your order will be left at the curb or in your driveway, depending on the driver's discretion. The delivery drivers are employed by the freight companies and, for insurance reasons, cannot assist in unloading your cabinets, so having extra help is important.
Why is freight shipping the only option on some items?
Certain larger cabinets and other items are not available for small parcel shipping due to their size and/or weight. We offer freight shipping for large items.
When will my order be shipped?
We have daily Small Parcel and Freight pickups. Small Parcel orders typically ship the same or next business day. LTL Freight orders are usually picked up within this same timeframe, though larger orders may require additional processing time. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday and shipped as soon as possible. Please note that during holidays, promotions, or busy seasons, processing may take additional time.
How long will it take to get my order?
Transit times can vary based on distance and potential delays, such as weather or peak seasons, and therefore cannot be guaranteed. Typically, small parcel ground shipments take 2-5 business days, while freight shipments usually take 3-7 business days.
We recommend waiting to schedule installers or contractors until after you receive your order to avoid any potential delays or rescheduling issues.
Do I need to be home to receive my shipment?
Freight shipments require scheduled delivery. Once your order reaches the local terminal, the freight company will contact you to arrange a delivery date. If you’re unable to schedule within 48 hours, storage fees may apply. It’s essential that you are present for the delivery, as a re-delivery fee will be charged if no one is there to receive it. For small parcel ground shipments, no one needs to be home, and the package(s) will be left at your address even if you’re not there.
Should I refuse my shipment upon delivery?
Please do not refuse shipments. If you would like to return your order or have any concerns, please contact us within 30 days of receipt to initiate a return or replacement. Refusing a shipment may result in delays and additional charges. We are here to assist you with any issues, so please reach out to us directly for the best resolution.
What happens if my order is damaged?
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please inspect it upon receipt and contact us immediately. Photos are required to process any replacement requests. If your order is a freight shipment, please mark the order as damaged on the paperwork and have the driver sign it as well. Depending on the extent of the damage, we will send a touch-up kit, replacement parts, or, if necessary, a full replacement. We reserve the right to determine the appropriate replacement needed.
Design
Can you design my kitchen for me?
Yes, we offer a free design service! Whether you need a kitchen, bathroom, wet bar, closet, or media center designed, we’ve got you covered. Simply measure your space and share any design ideas you have, and we’ll provide you with a design within a few days. For the fastest turnaround, we recommend including as much detail as possible in your initial design request to minimize the need for revisions.

Do I need door clearance?
If you are placing a cabinet next to a wall we recommend a 1/4-1/2” filler to allow the cabinet door to open completely.
Another factor to consider is the placement of corner cabinets. If your kitchen has a corner, it's recommended to use a 1.5-inch filler to ensure that cabinet doors can open without obstruction. It's common to forget the filler, which can result in the cabinet on the left not clearing the knob of the cabinet on the right when opening the door.
Fortunately, our lazy susan base cabinets and easy reach wall cabinets have bifold doors and don't require a filler, allowing them to open unobstructed.
What are fillers?
Our fillers are pieces of 3/4" hardwood used to fill gaps between cabinets or between a cabinet and a wall, ensuring a seamless and custom fit. They provide a sturdy and high-quality solution to bridge any gaps and achieve a clean, finished look in your kitchen or bathroom.
What is scribe moulding used for?
Scribe moulding is a thin, versatile trim designed to ensure a precise and polished finish where cabinets meet walls, ceilings, or other surfaces. It is used to cover any small gaps or variations that may occur during installation, providing a seamless and consistent appearance. Scribe moulding enhances the overall look of your cabinetry by creating a smooth transition between the cabinets and the surrounding surfaces.
What is light rail moulding?
Light rail moulding is a decorative trim piece installed along the bottom edge of upper cabinets. Its primary purpose is to conceal under-cabinet lighting, providing a finished look while also helping to soften the light and reduce glare. Light rail moulding enhances the overall aesthetic of your cabinetry by creating a more polished and refined appearance.
What is crown moulding?
Crown moulding is a decorative trim that is installed along the top edge of cabinets to add an elegant, finished look. While it is often used to bridge the gap between the cabinets and the ceiling, it can also be applied even if the cabinets don't reach the ceiling. In these cases, crown moulding enhances the overall appearance by creating a visually appealing transition and adding a sophisticated, polished touch to your cabinetry. Filler can be used for crown moulding.
What can I use for the back of my island or cabinets?
Transform the back of your island or cabinets into a design feature with our color-matched, painted skins. Batten, scribe or outside corner moulding can elegantly conceal any seams. If you’re aiming for a custom, framed appearance, fillers can beautifully define and accentuate your panels.

Our return policy outlines that certain items are deemed non-returnable, such as those that have been customized or modified by the customer, those that are missing original packaging, and those that are custom made or specially requested.

Can I cancel my order?
Orders must be canceled before they are shipped. We strive to process orders in a timely manner, which means that there is a limited window during which you may cancel your order.

Can I exchange my order?
We require that all items be kept in their original packaging.
If a replacement request is approved, the original item will become the property of Lanae, LLC. The customer will be responsible for either returning the original item or allowing Lanae, LLC to pick it up. If a pickup is required, the customer may be subject to a transportation fee. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package if necessary, and it's important to note that the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please be aware that items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
The cost of shipping/delivery for the replacement item will be the responsibility of the customer.
